Moto-ZA’s Ziggi Brodalka and Matt Gildenhuys chat to S.A.’s International MX Star Calvin Vlaanderen

We are trying something new and a little bit different here, let us know if you like it or don’t like it. The Guys from Moto-ZA managed to grab Calvin Vlaanderen on a recent visit home to Cape Town South Africa and dragged him into the studio  for a chat. 

Calvin Vlaanderen born 24 June 1996 is a South African-born Dutch professional Motocross racer.

Vlaanderen is a two time grand prix winner at FIM Motocross World Championship level. Vlaanderen was also a member of the victorious Dutch team at the 2019 Motocross des Nations. Domestically, he won the 500cc class in the 2022 Dutch Masters of Motocross 

Vlaanderen, through his grandparents, has dual nationality between his birth country of South Africa and The Netherlands. Sadly, he was stopped from racing under the South African by Motorsport SA.
