Round 3 of the GXCC Championship in Radium Bela Bela witnessed spectacular performances and unexpected twists as the riders battled it out for supremacy on the challenging track. Team Pepson Plastics Scottish Cables Motul Factory Kawasaki Racing sent us their news.

In the Pro Masters category, Pieter Holl showcased his exceptional skills and dominated the race, claiming the top spot on the podium with a breathtaking performance. Holl’s precision and speed was unmatched as he skillfully maneuvered through the course, solidifying his position as a force to be reckoned with.

In the Pro Seniors division, Kenny Gilbert proved his mettle once again, crossing the finish line first. Not far behind, Lee Thompson fought hard to secure a commendable fourth place in the intensely competitive Pro Seniors category.

Jaycee Nienaber exhibited remarkable skill in the OR 1 Pro class, finishing in a commendable third place. Nienaber’s tenacity and strategic racing tactics propelled him to the podium, earning him the respect of fellow competitors and fans alike.

In the OR 3 Pro class, Wian Wentzel showcased his exceptional talent, clinching an impressive second-place finish. Wentzel’s relentless pursuit of perfection and unwavering focus enabled him to navigate the demanding course precisely, earning him a spot on the podium.

Kevin Sanders faced a challenging race in the OR3 Pro-Am category but displayed unwavering determination to secure a respectable tenth place. Sanders’ resilience and grit shone through as he battled against tough competition and pushed his limits.

In the Jnr85cc class, Jake Pretorius showcased his burgeoning talent, securing an impressive second-place finish. Pretorius’ skilful riding and commitment to excellence were on full display as he tackled the track with finesse, leaving his mark on the race.

Clayton Human delivered a solid performance in the Snr85cc category, crossing the finish line in a commendable fifth place. Human’s skill and adaptability were evident as he conquered the challenging terrain, proving his capabilities as a skilled rider.

In the Jnr85cc class, Dylan Human faced a tough race, ultimately finishing in the twelfth position. Despite the challenges, Human displayed resilience and determination, demonstrating his potential for future success in the sport.

Unfortunately, Taki Bogiages had to retire from the race after just two laps due to a lingering elbow injury. Bogiages’ disappointment was palpable, but his safety and well-being remained a priority.

Similarly, Jayden Boyce experienced a mechanical failure that forced him to retire from the race prematurely. Boyce’s disappointment was evident, but he remains determined to bounce back stronger in future competitions.

The GXCC Championship at Radium Bela Bela witnessed exhilarating moments, inspiring displays of skill, and unexpected setbacks. As the riders dust off their gear and regroup for the next round, the stage is set for more thrilling racing action and remarkable comebacks. Small, sharp Pepson Plastics Kawasaki team for Ganyesa

Pepson Plastics Scottish Cables Motul Factory Kawasaki Racing is sending a small, sharp team to round 3 of the 2023 Trademore South African Cross Country Racing championship at Ganyesa.

“We head to our annual desert race at Excelsior Farm at Ganyesa north of Vryburg in the Northwest off another very good outing at the Radium GXCC on Saturday,” Pepson Plastics Scottish Cables Motul Factory Kawasaki Racing team boss Iain Pepper confirmed. “We will be taking a smaller team than usual to the National for a few reasons, but we arrive with a strong attack in various classes.

Kenny Gilbert, and National leader Pieter Holl will head our Ganyesa attack. They will be joined by Ryan Angilley, who returns to OR3 after injury, Jayden Boyce in 125 High School, and Jake Pretorius in Junior 85. Taki Bogiages is injured, Wian Wentzel is writing university exams and Jaycee Nienaber will miss this one.”
