It was a good turn out at Terra Topia for Round 7 of the Mayfair Gearbox Inland Motocross Championship. A cold start to the day but, the racing was Vuurwarm!
Race report as per race order.
50cc JNR & SNR.
JNR
Heat 1.
Taking on the cold weather for their first heat were the youngsters on the 50cc bikes. #30 Brayden Tucker was on form as he took the win, in 2nd place was #88 Reestin Bartlett and #212 Axell Sutherland taking the 3rd spot.
Heat 2.
Bartlett had a great race and gave Tucker a tough time. Tucker stuck it out to grab 1st place by 0.462seconds, Bartlett was right behind him in 2nd and it was another 3rd for Sutherland.
SNR
Heat 1.
With a good race #20 Luan Jordaan just had the flow of the track crafted to his advantage. He stormed the finish line for 1st place. #117 Trey Dean had #141 Alessandro Green right up his zorst, but Trey pulled off a 2nd place with Green in a close 3rd.
Heat 2.
Jordaan was again just too fast to catch as he claimed his second win. It got close between Trey and Green but this time it was Green that took 2nd and Trey followed close behind in 3rd.

Masters
Heat 1.
Making Kawasaki lovers proud was #28 Callan Theron as he took his green machine over the line in 1st. #187 Ty Taylor the points leader kept himself in the game taking 2nd. In 3rd place we had #58 Warrick Peeters.
Heat 2.
Theron kept his momentum going in the second race as he took the flag in victory. Taylor had another good race claiming 2nd. Crossing the line in 3rd with a good run was #37 Craig Maynier.
Grand Masters
Heat 1.
What a performance by #2 Gary Killian who just outrode the competition and took the 1st spot. #47 Shaun Lloyd crossed in 2nd place and we had #159 Adrian Maguire in 3rd.
Heat 2.
It was not exactly the way Killian wanted the race to go. He saw the podium slip out of reach. #4 David de Witt had a fantastic run as he managed to take a close win from Lloyd Maguire took 3rd.

Heat 1.
It was a good start to the day for #21 Jessica Osner. She was first to cross the line. #16 Kelly Beegte made her way to 2nd and not far behind #202 Mienke Cawood took 3rd.
Heat 2.
Riding the dust out of the track, Cawood took the win. Osner grabbed 2nd place and Beegte walked away with 3rd.

125cc High School & SNR.
High School
Heat 1.
With a whopping 29 riders in this class (excluding the SNR’s) the grid was full of teens looking for glory. The first glimpse went to #777 Asher Brown who won this race. #13 Thomas Spear took 2nd with the 3rd spot belonged to #96 Keno Pereira.
Heat 2.
Spear took the glory and secured himself the 1st spot, Pereira got a clean 2nd and Brown came in 3rd.
SNR
Heat 1.
Having the privilege to race against one of his hero’s didn’t stop #101 Grant Frerichs from doing the winning thing. Frerichs kept his eye on the prize and took the chequered flag. Ryan Hunt came in 2nd and #104 Graham Obery placed 3rd.
Heat 2.
Frerichs climbed on the gas as soon as the gates dropped and showed no mercy to take the double win.
Mr. Hunt collected himself another 2nd with Obery again in 3rd place.

Always a pleasure to watch, #135 Dean Wheeler came out early to steal the show. He came out swinging and took the win. #24 Mark Carty grabbed 2nd place followed shortly by #746 Adriano Catalano in 3rd.
Heat 2.
It was the same thing in this race as Wheeler powered his way to victory.
MX Support
Heat 1.
Another display of skill came in the form of #34 Greg Gildenhuys as he ploughed through the track and took 1st place, #20 Dorren Loureiro had a good race as he came in 2nd and #122 Kyle Davey in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Another win for Gildenhuys secured his top step spot for the day. With a better run we saw #38 Terrence Bonsignore claimed the 2nd spot with Davey in 3rd

Not letting any dust settle, #345 Rayden Woolls rushed toward the chequered flag to take the win. No error code here as #404 Rhys Wentzel took 2nd and #63 Troy Wentzel 3rd.
Heat 2.
A repeat of the previous race saw the same results. Victory went in favour of Woolls.

Heat 1.
Leaving nothing behind #711 Keagan Burns gave all he had to make sure he crossed the line in 1st place. #78 Keagan Crawford took 2nd place and #111 Keegan Miles in a very close 3rd spot.
Heat 2.
Not happy with the way the first race ended, Miles gave it a little more gas to secure the win. Burns crossed in 2nd this time with Crawford in 3rd.
PRO MINI
Heat 1.
There was no denying that #234 Cassie van Zyl was on form as he made a clean break to victory. #15 Dylan Bezuidenhout grabbed 2nd with #73 Cameron Stuckie placed in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Repeating his performance, Van Zyl screamed his way to 1st place, Bezuidenhout made it another 2nd with #10 Tallie Strydom clinching 3rd.

Heat 1.
Ryan Hunt joined in on the Vets fun. #135 Dean Wheeler on fire again. He made his way over the line first. #777 Ryan Hunt came in between the Wheeler brothers in 2nd with #73 Brandon Wheeler in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Dean took the double, making it two doubles for the day, Brandon held strong and got 2nd place with Hunt in 3rd.
MX2
Heat 1.
Feeling the rhythm of the track and playing to it’s beat was #24 Mark James Carty. He vibed his way to the win. #247 Jean Visser crossed the line to place 2nd and #228 Louis Mostert took 3rd.
Heat 2.
Still hearing that sweet song of victory, Carty made it two for two, winning both heats. Visser was not to be stopped to grab another 2nd place and this time it was #136 Mark-Anthony Filip who took the 3rd step.
