Final Round of the National Motocross at Terra Topia.

It was a great day at Terra Topia for the final round of the 2025 National Motocross. People from all over the country came to Joburg to enjoy a day of action packed racing.

National Motocross
#73 Brandon Wheeler 1st place MX3 Vets.

MX3 & Vets.
Heat 1.
With a good start right from the gate drop, #73 Brandon Wheeler’s pace carried him through the laps all the way to 1st place. #99 Levi Doherty came 2nd and #94 Keegan du Plooy took 3rd.
In Heat 2, Wheeler, on his Honda, had another great run and finished with the double win. Du Plooy claimed 2nd, followed by #100 Sean Strunkheide in 3rd place.

Senior Support.
Heat 1.
#777 Calan Broskie was the dominant rider as he flew through the circuit to finish in 1st place. X28 Neo Sanders came through in 2nd, with #36 Astin Allin in 3rd.
In Heat 2, Husqvarna reigned supreme in the Senior Support class as the brand took the top three spots in both heats. Broskie took another win, Allin got 2nd and Sanders finished 3rd.

#777 Callan Broskie 1st place Senior Support.

125cc High School.
Heat 1.
#1 Trent Cox was in top form as he got his bike out in the lead. He kept his cool and crossed the line for the win. #300 Trent Valsecchi followed in 2nd, with #418 Cruz Martin taking 3rd place.
Heat 2.
This time around, #444 Tristan Durow had a great run as he out-rode his competitors to take 1st place. Valsecchi claimed 2nd and Cox got 3rd.

Heat 1.
Poised and ready, the gates dropped and #234 Cassie van Zyl’s Husqvarna roared into action. He took all the right lines and grabbed 1st place. #280 Kabelo Ledwaba crossed in 2nd, followed by #1 Trenton Kretzmann in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Van Zyl made sure that no one was going to stand in his way and rode himself to claim 1st overall. #30 Brody Bircher, with a better run, took 2nd place and Ledwaba finished in 3rd.

Heat 1.
After a great start from the reigning champ, #1 Cameron Durow had the KTM Factory rider powering his way to 1st place. #87 Davin Cocker came through in 2nd and #81 Jayden Proctor finished 3rd.
Heat 2.
Once again it was all about Durow, as his speed was just too much for the other riders to match. Durow collected himself the double win, Proctor claimed 2nd and #783 Ethan Hoffman took 3rd place.

#1 Cameron Durow 1st place.

MX Ladies.
Heat 1.
A great show by #32 Ivana Venter had her glide through the track to take the win. #349 Mackenzie Bam followed in 2nd place with #21 Jessica Osner in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Bam came out swinging in the final heat. She carried a good pace throughout and secured 1st overall. Osner finished in 2nd and #118 Caitlin Parkes crossed in 3rd place.

Heat 1.
As the gates dropped, with a puff of 2-stroke smoke, the youngsters were off. The laps fell one by one and in the end it was #30 Brayden Tucker who managed to take 1st place, followed by #16 Travis Hart in 2nd and #88 Reestin Bartlett in 3rd.
Heat 2.
With a smoother run in this heat, Hart rode his heart out and took the win. Tucker finished 2nd and Bartlett with another 3rd place.

#16 Travis Hart 1st place.

Heat 1.
A fantastic show by #345 Rayden Woolls kept the fans entertained until he crossed the line in 1st place. #404 Rhys Wentzel got 2nd and #40 Hendrico Barwise took 3rd.
Heat 2.
The young showman did it again. Woolls kept his head down and his lines clean, securing the top step on the podium. Wentzel followed in 2nd with #85 Ross Mackenzie in 3rd place.

#345 Rayden Woolls 1st place.

MX2.
Heat 1.
The MX2 class had some proper racing, with the star being #1 Cameron Durow who came out on top with 1st place. #451 Dalton Venter took 2nd and #747 Jordan van Wyk crossed in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Durow made it two for two as he jumped his way into a double win. Venter secured 2nd place, followed by #81 Jayden Proctor in 3rd.

KTM takes another manufacturer title, Yamaha 2nd, Husqvarna 3rd.

So we say goodbye to the 2025 National Motocross season, and now we look ahead to see what the 2026 season will bring. Will Yamaha be able to unseat KTM as the number one manufacturer next year? 

We’ll have to wait and see.
