Husqvarna is building back up to full-strength with its MX model range which, for 2025, grows back to seven models.
That model range is a 125, 150, 250 and 300cc two-strokes. 250, 350, and 450 four-strokes.
Husqvarna is touting the newcomers, the 150 and 300 which appeal to the legions of two-stroke fans out there.
“The new TC 150 bridges the gap between the TC 125 and the TC 250. With more overall power and boosted torque compared to the 125 it is based upon. It’s a match for riders looking to gain an advantage against 250cc four-strokes”, says Husky.
“The same philosophy applies to the new TC 300 which, naturally enough is a bigger bore version of the TC 250, but more capable of racing with 450 four-strokes thanks to more torque and peak power.”
Updates to the frame
Like we saw with the updates to Husqvarna’s orange-coloured brothers, the latest generation Austrian frame on all seven models is updated for 2025.
“Material is reduced around the upper shock mount and at the front of the chassis, revisions are introduced to improve flex characteristics, reduce weight, and improve cornering without compromising straight-line stability.”
The three four-stroke models also have new engine mounts which Husqvarna says improves agility.
Further chassis revisions include new suspension settings, linkage seals, and a smaller diameter linkage bolt to save weight. Redesigned tank shrouds allow easier access to the adjusters on the WP shock too and the seat height is 5mm higher and wider at the lowest point for “Easier movement” they say.
There’s also aesthetic updates to the bikes for 2025 with rider aids like launch control, traction control, mapping options and the Connectivity Unit.
New for 2025 also are Dunlop’s latest MX34 tyres. High-spec standard components like ProTaper handlebars, ODI grips, and Brembo clutch and brake systems are fitted.
