Husqvarna 701 Enduro

The 2026 Husqvarna 701 Enduro

For 2026, the 701 Enduro evolves rather than revolutionises. Husqvarna has retained the core that makes the 701 so appealing. That big single‑cylinder LC4 engine. Capable suspension, a capable chassis, with refinements across several systems.

Engine updates.

The LC4 single‑cylinder unit gets redesigned crankcases to reduce drag and maintain a linear but strong power delivery. It also meets the latest emissions standards. Notably, service intervals have been stretched: oil changes are now only due every 15,000 km.

Suspension.

The front end is fitted with 48mm WP XPLOR USD forks with 265 mm travel. out back, the rear WP shock offers 250 mm of travel and offroad geometry via linkage. Compression and rebound adjustability is generous with 30 clicks on the forks.

Brakes.

Stopping power is by Bosch ABS assisted Brembo’s with a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm disc out back, both with floating calipers.

Off-road ABS mode lets the rear wheel lock while keeping the front under control or you can switch ABS off completely.

Chassis & frame.

The chromium‑molybdenum steel trellis frame is slightly stiffer now, aimed at better handling without losing the feedback that riders expect off‑road. Also, some small tweaks like relocating the centre stand brackets are aimed at better usability.

Electronics & rider aids.

There are three ride modes: Street, Offroad, and optional Rally. Rally mode adds more control over traction, throttle response, slip, and motor slip regulation, basically and basically allows to to tailor how wild or tame you’d like the bike to feel.

Instrumentation & connectivity.

A new 4.2‑inch bonded TFT display offers better visibility in glare, and gives access to all the bike’s modes and features. A USB‑C port is built in for charging devices. With the Ride Husqvarna app, you also get turn‑by‑turn navigation, plus controls for calls and music.

Ergonomics.

The seat has been extended over the radiator shrouds to improve grip and control in tighter corners. Bodywork graphics are updated and the 13 litre fuel tank is integrated into the self‑supporting rear subframe.
