Round 4 of the MSA National Motocross Championship took riders to the BORC MX Track in Bloemfontein, where championship contenders continued their fight for valuable points. The Free State circuit delivered another day of intense racing, with several riders claiming perfect scores while others had to work hard to secure their places on the overall podium.

Nate Small was in a class of his own throughout the day, taking victory in both heats to secure the overall win. Gianno Ferreira remained consistent with two second-place finishes, while Casper De Mist Kruger completed the podium after finishing third in both races.

The MX3 class belonged to Brandon Wheeler, who swept both heats to take maximum points. Warrick van Schalkwyk finished runner-up in both races, while Matthew Lockhart-Ross did enough in Heat 1 to secure third overall.

The MX2 class produced some close racing. Cameron Durow claimed the opening heat, but Trey Cox bounced back in Heat 2 to take the win. Consistent finishes across both races were enough for Cox to secure the overall victory ahead of Slade Smith and Luke Grundy.

Brody Bircher delivered a flawless performance, taking victory in both heats. Cassie van Zyl matched that consistency with two second-place finishes, while Aiden Retief’s strong second race secured him the final step on the podium.

The MX65cc class saw different winners in each heat. Richard Smith took the opening race and followed it up with third in Heat 2, which proved enough to secure the overall win. Trey Dean’s Heat 2 victory earned him second overall ahead of Riley Geldenhuys.

The High School class delivered another exciting contest. Trent Valsecchi took the first heat before Evan Frost responded with victory in Heat 2. Consistency across both races saw Valsecchi secure the overall win ahead of Frost and Trenton Kretzmann.
