There was a time when Yamaha was THE Powerhouse of Off-Road Racing in South Africa. Arrive at any off-road racing event and it would be a sea of blue with a smattering of white/red and yellow/black bikes.
After a fair absence, Yamaha is are finding its way back into local race series.
Recently at a launch event at Sand Trax near Vereeniging, the Linex bLU cRU Yamaha Racing Team was announced.
Competing in the GXCC Gauteng Cross Country Series, the team is set to take on the competition with highly respected riders absolutely dedicated to the sport.

The team tells us that they are finely focused on making a big impact in the highly competitive GXCC series and get the Linex name out there. With a mix of experience and rising talent, the Linex bLU cRU Yamaha Racing is rip-roaring ready for the 2025 season.
