We made our way back to Dirt Bronco for the 9th round of the Mayfair Gearbox Inland Motocross Championship to enjoy some dirty racing action. And it was top drawer!
50cc Junior and Senior.
JNR
Heat 1.
With the previous round also held at Dirt Bronco, #88 Reestin Bartlett felt like he had a score to settle with #30 Brayden Tucker who beat him in both races in Round 8. The day started leaning in the favour of Bartlett as he took the first win, Tucker came 2nd and #11 Gianno Ferreira placed 3rd.
Heat 2.
Getting exactly what he wanted, Bartlett rode his heart out and took the double win. Tucker did well and secured himself 2nd place with Ferreira collecting his second 3rd for the day.
SNR.
Heat 1.
The senior class kept things the same as Round 8.
#20 Luan Jordaan was in top form – he crossed the line in 1st place. #141 Alessandro Green rode his bike hard to claim 2nd and #118 Mason Vrey took the flag in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Choosing all the right ruts and flowing through the berms, Jordaan was just too quick and grabbed another win. Green didn’t let off the throttle taking 2nd with Vrey complimenting the previous performance by taking 3rd place.

Masters.
Heat 1.
The Masters class saw different results, this time it was #111 Marc Ansley who stumped the other riders by taking 1st place, #50 Nicolaas van der Linden took 2nd and #37 Craig Maynier finished in 3rd.
Heat 2.
The results might not have been the same in the last round but they did keep it the same on this day. Ansley rode to victory, Van der Linden got another 2nd and Maynier took the 3rd spot.
Grand Masters.
Heat 1.
The ever so fast #47 Shaun Lloyd put on a show for the youngsters and finished it up with the win. The 2nd spot was taken by #159 Adrian Maguire with #11 Rick van Tonder in 3rd place.
Heat 2.
Another good performance by Lloyd saw him take his second win on the day. Changing things around was Van Tonder who took 2nd place and Maguire grabbing 3rd.

Heat 1.
Who will be the winner this time? Well, #202 Mienke Cawood stepped up to that question when she out rode her competitors to claim 1st place. #21 Jessica Osner made her way through the track to cross the line in 2nd and #16 Kelly Beegte took 3rd.
Heat 2.
Proofing it was not luck, Cawood rode her way to the double win. Osner kept her head down and took 2nd place and Beegte placed 3rd again.

Heat 1.
The deja vu kicked in again as #111 Keegan Miles rode like a champ and grabbed 1st place, #78 Keagan Crawford taking 2nd and #711 Keagan Burns in 3rd.
Heat 2.
The youngster ended the day by recreating Round 8 with Miles securing another win, Crawford making it over the line in 2nd and Burns following to take 3rd place.
Pro-Mini
Heat 1.
Ploughing through the dirt we got to see #418 Cruz Martin cross the line for a well deserved win, he was followed by #15 Dylan Bezuidenhout in 2nd and #690 Ruben Cawood taking 3rd place.
Heat 2.
With the same energy he had in the first heat Martin cruzzed his way to the end and was the first rider to see the chequered flag. Bezuidenhout did well to secure 2nd place and #91 Connor Schlebusch clinched 3rd.

Heat 1.
The gates dropped and the premier class race was a go. With the throttle fully opened #135 Dean Wheeler whipped through the air and in the end he took the win. #717 Calum Marriott rode and jumped his way to 2nd place and was followed by #24 Mark-James Carty in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Wheeler’s pace was too great for the rest to keep up to and he got himself to the top step in 1st place. Marriott and Carty felt like a bit of a change so Carty claimed 2nd this time and Marriott taking 3rd.
MX Support.
Heat 1.
The decision was made by #159 Adian Maguire to throw a wrench in #34 Greg Gildenhuys’ impressive season, Maguire placed in 1st and left 2nd place to Gildenhuys and he was followed by #56 Jason Venter in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Maguire had no intention to slow down as he climbed on the gas and rode to victory. Gildenhuys with a good run of his own claimed 2nd and Venter took his second 3rd.

With no one there to challenge #718 James Lottering, he got 1st Place for the day.
High School.
Heat 1.
17 Riders took on the challenge to see who will get top honours. It was a close end to the first race as #24 Ronald Graven clinched the win with #38 Ethan Louw following in a close 2nd place and #3 Asher Brown took 3rd.
Heat 2.
Louw barely put a foot wrong as he powered his way to take 1st place securing the top honours for the day. #13 Thomas Spear had a great run as he crossed the line in 2nd and he was followed by Graven in 3rd.

Heat 1.
A brilliant display of skill had #66 Mikah Hendrickse take his little KTM all the way over the line for the win. #14 Ohan Graven also did well and took 2nd place with #104 Richard Smith taking 3rd.
Heat 2.
This race got good especially towards the end as the top three riders were not far apart at all. When the flag came out it was Hendrickse who crossed in 1st place with Smith following in 2nd and Graven not far behind in 3rd.

MX3 Vets & MX2
Vets.
Heat 1.
Like most of the time the Vets can be called the Wheeler show, as the Wheeler Brothers seems to be the dominant force. #135 Dean Wheeler had no Problem to run away with the race and taking 1st place, his brother #73 Brandon Wheeler took 2nd and #718 James Lottering finished 3rd.
Heat 2.
Keeping it pinned Dean made another clean break for the chequered flag and got his double. Brother Brandon made sure to secure his spot on the 2nd step and Lottering claimed 3rd.
MX2.
Heat 1.
Keeping his head in the game and going all in for the win we had #24 Mark-James Carty who grabbed 1st place, #717 Calum Marriott took his bike across the line in 2nd and #136 Mark-Anthony Filip got 3rd.
Heat 2.
Carty showed the guys who is the boss as he was victorious again. Marriott stuck to his ways and finished 2nd again and Filip with another 3rd place.
