It was a warm, sunny day at Dirt Bronco for Round 6 of the Inland MX Championship, with the track nicely prepped and the riders eager to get racing. The conditions were good, andthe riders put in a solid day’s work as the championship moved through another round.
MX50cc Junior & Senior and MX65cc
The MX50ccJunior class was a straightforward affair, with #59 James Gibson the only Junior rider entered. Gibson took the win in both heats to claim the Junior overall.
In the MX50cc Senior class, #112 Logan Fulton was also the only rider in his class and took both heat wins and the overall victory.
The MX65cc class saw #20 Luan Jordaan take control from the start, winning both heats. #215 Nathan Authers finished second in both, while #17 Hanro Jacobs completed the top three in both races.

#15 Dylan Bezuidenhout was the man to beat in MX1, taking both heat wins and the overall victory. #96 Keno Pereira finished second in Heat 1, while #184 Justin Cope was third. In Heat 2, Cope moved up to second, with Pereira third.
That was enough for Cope to take second overall, with Pereira finishing third.

The 125cc High School class saw #777 Brandon van Wyk win the opening heat, ahead of #111 Keegan Miles and #91 Connor Schlebusch.
Miles came back strongly in Heat 2 to take the win, with Van Wyk second and Schlebusch third. Miles’ consistency gave him the overall victory.

Next Stop
With Round 6 done and dusted, the Inland MX Championship now takes a short detour to Bloemfontein for the North vs South at BORC 26 September.
The championship then returns for Round 7 at Dirt Bronco on 10 October.
