Riders and fans took to Terra Topia for Round 5 of the Inland Series. Even with the National MX happening on the same weekend there were still full gates that took on the dusty and muddy track, and still kept the spectators entertained.
As per race order:
50cc JNR/SNR.
JNR: Being let go one at a time for their practice run some of the little bikes had a tough time getting through the mud, some got stuck some took a bit of a tumble. #212 Axel Sutherland with less hassle made for a great run as he set the fastest time. #88 Reestin Bartlett and #914 Jadyson Joao completed the top three.Â
Heat 1: When the racing started they all poured in to the first turn and made it through safely and the race was on. #88 Bartlett had all the right lines as he got his nose in front and kept it there all the way to the end and took 1st place by quite the margin. #30 Braydon Tucker who had a tough practice run made up for it as he took 2nd and #914 Joao 3rd.Â
Heat 2: Once again Bartlett got the better start and got the lead, doing the same as he did in the previous heat he just could not be caught and took his second win. #30 Tucker with the same pace as before made sure to take the 2nd spot this time it was #88 Axel Sutherland you got 3rd place.
SNR: In practice #118 Mason Vrey hopped and skipped through the course as he made up the best time by over twelve seconds. #38 Hayden Kasser followed by #17 Hanro Jacobs were the three fastest in their practice session.Â
Heat 1: #118 Vrey was on fire in this heat as he was just too much for the rest and took a huge win. #17 Jacobs also had a good pace making his way to a comfortable 2nd. #99 Ruben de Bruin made it to the flag in 3rd.
Heat 2: This time things got heated as #17 Jacobs and #118 Vrey had to fight for the top spot making for some good racing and in the end it was Jacobs who grabbed 1st place by just over a second. #6 Millan Roux in 3rd place and we had #920 JD Griesel in 4th for both heats that gave him 3rd overall.

MX1 & MX Support.
MX1: This class had everyone at the edge of their seats as they are the top dogs in the series. In practice it was #19 Alastair Drennan who bit the hardest setting the quickest time and it was #881 Matthew Wilson 2nd and #746 Adriano Catalano 3rd.
Heat 1: As soon as the gates dropped #19 Drennan got hounded by the pack, but being no puppy, Drennan kept going with #136 Mark Anthony Filip keeping a tight leash just to make things a little more entertaining, but too little to late as Drennan took the flag in 1st place, #136 Filip in close 2nd and #746 Catalano 3rd.
Heat 2: In this race we saw a new top dog as #746 Catalano broke free and stormed his way to the coveted 1st place, #19 Drennan on a rampage could not catch up and settled for 2nd and was later followed by #881 Matthew Wilson who took 3rd.

Heat1: It was soon clear that #34 Gildenhuys was out to be back at his winning ways and that is exactly what he did, win. #312 Waylin Olivier had a good ride as he took 2nd out pacing #59 Ruan Smith in 3rd.
Heat2: Keeping up the momentum Gildenhuys kept his head down and won his second race by over five seconds. This time the pace changed as #59 Smith crossed the line in 2nd. #312 Olivier could do nothing but take the 3rd spot.Â

#66 Mikah Hendrickse set a tough time to beat and it stayed that way as he claimed fastest in practice. #312 Qhamani Thu was second and when the time was up #19 Tommy Wotherspoon was 0.840sec slower than Thu.
Heat 1: #66 Hendrickse was feeling good and looking great as he left the gates shooting for the holeshot, got there first and kept on the power all the way till he got the big ‘W’. #312 Thu running wild made a bee-line for the finish line and got 2nd, #19 Wotherspoon took 3rd.
Heat 2: The last heat got intense as #312 Thu decided to try and hunt down Hendrickse and very nearly succeeded… if he only had 0.007sec more time. So, Hendrickse took 1st place again with Thu up his tail pipe in 2nd followed by Wotherspoon in 3rd.

MX2 & MX3 Vets.
MX3 Vets: With the absence regular Dean Wheeler it was all up to #73 Brandon Wheeler to keep their name high. Brandon did just that starting with the practice run, the fastest rider out on track. #100 Sean Strunkheide 2nd and #22 Sarel Prinsloo 3rd.
Heat 1: #73 Wheeler rode his wheels off as he took an impressive win. #718 James Lottering on his somewhat harmless looking purple KTM, that is in fact a monster dressed up like a pokemon went to clinch 2nd by almost ten seconds. #22 Sarel Prinsloo made it to the flag in 3rd.
Heat 2: As the gates disappeared so did #73 Wheeler was like a magician, with a puff of dust and he was gone. No need to say that he won the race. #22 Prinsloo made it to the chequered flag before the pretty little bike brought forth its vengeance. Prinsloo 2nd and Lottering 3rd.
MX2: #136 Mark-Anthony Filip had something special going on in practice as he topped the charts by some margin. #228 Louis Mostert sat up a good time as well but so did #446 Shaigon Bister who was 0.869 off Mostert’s pace.
Heat 1: #136 Filip and #881 Wilson had a good old fashioned dice before some gremlins got hold of Filip’s bike and things went south for the #136 motorcycle leaving Wilson to have an unchallenged run for victory. #446 Bister had his hand full with Mostert as they both almost simultaneously crossed the line, it was Bister who took 2nd by 0.001sec and Mostert 3rd.
Heat 2: Taking things that is given to you with open arms is exactly what #881 Wilson did, he took the lead and 1st place at the end of the race. #228 Mostert had some extra power as he rode his way to 2nd and left the 3rd spot for #446 Bister.
