The boys and girls of the Inland MX Championship took the battle to each other at ERORA this past Saturday. It was a good day out in the dirt.

Heat 1.
As always, it was the youngsters on the 50cc bikes that got to get the day started. Right out of the gate #18 Garry Hammer had a great start and kept the momentum as he roared his way to the finish line grabbing himself 1st place, #112 Logan Fulton took 2nd and #149 Salvador Bastos finished in 3rd.
Heat 2.
With a handful of throttle Hamer repeated his performance from heat 1 and crossed the line for his second win of the day, Bastos claimed 2nd and Fulton took 3rd place.
SNR.
Heat 1.
The seniors started the race and soon after #30 Brayden Tucker took the lead. Their were a few exciting moments in the race, but in the end Tucker still took the win, #88 Reestin Bartlett crossed in 2nd place with #6 Milan Roux in 3rd.
Heat 2.
As for heat 2, Bartlett had a much better run as he stormed his way through the laps and claimed 1st place, Roux followed in 2nd and Tucker took 3rd.

21 students took to the track to see who would be top of the class. #114 Damien Venter bullied his way to the front and left the rest behind to win the race. #100 Greef van Wyk was next up in 2nd place and #11 Deruk van Aswegan took 3rd.
Heat 2.
With all the right answers Venter was not to be caught as he secured 1st overall, #3 Asher Brown finished in 2nd with Van Aswegan in a close 3rd place.

Heat 1.
The masters got their race going and as the laps started to fall #187 Ty Taylor was up in front making his way to the end. He finished in 1st place, #16 Nicolas Verrier took 2nd and #58 Warrick Peeters followed in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Lap after lap the Masters were fighting hard and this time it was #37 Craig Maynier who took it all the way to take the win, Verrier followed in 2nd with Taylor in 3rd.
Grand Masters.
Heat 1.
The more seasoned riders showed off their skills with all eyes on #7 Gary Killian as he carved his way through the track. Killian grabbed 1st place, #47 Shaun Lloyd took 2nd with #159 Adrian Maguire in 3rd.
Heat 2.
The last race for the day and Killian on his Honda was not to be caught as he crossed the line for his double win. Lloyd claimed 2nd with Maguire finished with another 3rd place.

The kids on the 65cc had a cracker of a start and just got better from there as they battled for the win. #201 Hanru du Plessis and #117 Trey Dean took their fight all the way to the end, with Du Plessis snatching the win. Dean followed in a very close 2nd place and #20 Luan Jordaan took 3rd.
Heat 2.
After a great first race we were looking forward to Heat 2.
Du Plessis was in control and kept his competitors behind him to secure 1st overall, Jordaan got 2nd and Dean took 3rd place.

The MX2 class had a lot of excitement throughout the pack with all round good racing. #24 Mark James Carty came around the last corner to win. He was followed by #38 Ethan Louw in 2nd and #84 Marco Cherti in 3rd place.

#210 Blake Osner made his way to the front and collected 1st place, #100 Greef van Wyk claimed 2nd and Cherti finished 3rd.

The ladies took to the track and gave the fans a great show.
#110 Emily Pienaar had a good run that led her to win the race, #170 Katelyn Pretorius made her way to 2nd place followed by #55 Gabriella Olivier in 3rd.

With a better second heat #16 Kelly Beegte quickly made her way to lead the pack, she stayed focused and took 1st place,.Pretorius finished in 2nd and Pienaar followed in 3rd.

The Support class was fun to watch as the riders gave it their all. #33 Blake Levey was in top form as he stormed toward the finish line to claim 1st place. #32 Brandon Meyer made his way to 2nd and #421 Tyrone Thomson took 3rd.
Heat 2.
After his win in heat one, Levey decided that no one was going to stand in the way. He took home the double win with #274 Matt McCarthy finished in a very close 2nd place. Thomsom claimed the 3rd spot.

After the gate dropped, the Juniors with the Pro class were off in a puff of smoke. #201 Hanru du Plessis was out in the lead and just kept going. He crossed the line in 1st place followed by #246 Ryan Boggett in 2nd and #602 Rogan Schwim in 3rd.
Heat 2.
It was Du Plessis in front from early on in the race. He kept his lines clean all the way to take the flag for the win. Boggett finished in 2nd and this time it was #515 Corbin McLean who took 3rd.
Pro.
Heat 1.
It was clear from the start that #280 Kabelo Ledwaba was a force to reckon with as he ploughed through the track like a pro rider. Ledwaba’s clean raceline took him all the way to claim the win, #15 Lleyton Botha grabbed 2nd and #312 Qhamani Thu took 3rd place.
Heat 2.
Ledwaba repeated his performance from heat one and didn’t put a foot wrong. He, once again crossed in 1st place. Botha followed in 2nd while #78 Keagan Crawford finished 3rd.

Heat 1.
One of the most exciting classes to watch is the MX1 class, always action packed.
The rider who stole the show was #746 Adriano Catalano who powered his way to 1st place. #210 Blake Osner took 2nd with #38 Ethan Louw in 3rd.
Heat 2.
With a proper start and no mistakes, Catalano left the other riders in his dust as he showed ERORA what he is made of. Catalano clinched the win and was followed by Osner in 2nd place and Louw in 3rd.
MX3 Vets.
Heat 1.
As for the Vets there was only one name on everybody’s mind #73 Brandon Wheeler. Wheeler carried a great pace that took him all the way over the win in 1st place, #22 Sarel Prinsloo came through in 2nd while #717 Wayne Meyer finished 3rd.
Heat 2.
To end raceday, Wheeler made sure to send the spectators home with a smile by taking the chequered flag for a double win, Prinsloo took 2nd and Meyer grabbed 3rd Place.
