Take a Tuesday off! I Mean – what really goes on on a Tuesday after all? Why not join our team on some madcap trip or other – and we’ll give you a sick note for the boss…
That’s the idea. We have to shoot and review motorcycles anyway (In this case it was the new CF Moto 450 and the two Kove models), and we usually undertake a bit of an adventure ride in order to do it, so the guys from Bikeshop Boksburg and Suzuki East roped in a bunch of friends, bikes and customers and came along for the ride.
This time it was out to Oppi Stasie in Cullinan, for a ridiculously large lunch (No seriously we had to reset the suspension for the return trip), as we wound our way through the muddy farmlands putting the bikes through their paces.
The lekker part is, that you get to ride different bikes throughout the day, so the guys (Or girls) get to see what is available on the market – and hopefully spread the word to all of their mates.
There are marshalls and medics and backup vehicles… and they were kept busy with punctures and a roasty or two caused by an overzealous throttle operator.
All in – it’s usually excellent fun, a great way to sneak out during the week.
