GXCC Junior Racing brought to you by Henderson Racing Products.

Radium saw the junior racers from around SA converge to take each other on in the farmlands. It was a great turnout with some fierce racing on a chilly Saturday morning.
The flag dropped at 8 bells and our Junior classes set out at two minute intervals. The track was well prepared and marked.
Rogan, from team TSR/ LS Metals who rides a little YZ 65 had this to say:
“It was huge fun! Twenty kilometres of fast, flowing trails, twisty bush, lots of thorn trees and sand, which made us quite tired.”
The sand got some of the riders with little wheels digging in and the front wheels washing out. But they battled their way up, started again and took off!
“Some of the riders are so fast! There’s a guy also called Rogan on a 50 who gave me a real run for my money!”
“We get two hours to do as many laps as we can, most riders do about three. On the day, I managed four! And that was cool.”
“In my class, Eddie Gower just, just beat me, next time he’s in trouble! I came in second, just 45 seconds out. Marcus Dilman gave us a proper dice and he came in third.”
“I love racing and riding. I get to see all my buddies, it’s fun and we get trophies! My mates and I had so much fun and we can’t wait for the next one.”
“In our TSR team, We dragged my friend Marcel along and he came fourth! I’m going to give him some pointers, next time we’ll be even faster!”
Our thoughts are with The Pentecost family.
The next round is scheduled for the 13th of July in Leandra.
