Gas Junky original founder, André van Niekerk is a dirtbike and adventure rider who came to realize the importance of good quality products to keep the important things safe. So, in around 2010 Gas Junky was born and started to take shape in André’s garage. It has been 15 years of innovation and devotion with some great products made and distributed across SA.
The Western Capes Hannes and Dirkie Rootman have been a big part of Gas Junky since the beginning. Avid motorcycle people themselves, they have taken things over and moved the business down to their facility in George. New management with the same quality craftsmanship.
They still develop and adapt their products to bring you the products you need.

Dirkie is the boss with Hannes in Sales & RND. Fourie is involved with Design & Development with Alfred taking care of Manufacturing.
