Motorcycle mirror

Double Take Universal Adventure Mirrors.

A friend of ours recommended that we have a look at the Doubletake foldaway mirrors after one of the mirrors on the office Triumph XCX got smashed.

We went one better and bought the adventure kit set.

The mirrors arrive as a set – complete with a free can cooler – you know, the ones that slip over your cold bevvy to maintain the temperature.

Something for nothing. Nice.

Fitment is dead simple – and for the bikes that have a reverse thread on one bar, Doubletake supplies an adaptor socket – which also means that your mirrors are even height.

A clamp bolts down onto the mounts and the ball mechanism allows to far more adjustability and placement choice than the standard mirror.

Two different mirror styles are available.

The mirror removal is also really simple, so when you do hit that more techy terrain where you might have a tumble, you can unclip them and stash them in your backpack – OR you can fold them right into the dash and well out of harms way.

Quality fit and finish.

They don’t vibrate, and they offer a wide field of view, whether you are on the tar or in the dirt.

So far, we like them. A lot. Simple design. Rugged fit and they look pretty cool too.
