This is just a teaser to whet your appetite, there is so much to talk about and show you…. keep tabs on our site for lots more….. coming soon.
It’s been a busy week – we were asked to go along to a CFMOTO world media launch – and honestly we had no idea what we were in for.
“Chaps! CFMOTO is launching the new 800MT-X – how’d you like to come along and ride it?”
That’s the call that we got from the CFMOTO SA Dealer development manager Doug Farrell. It’s been a while since we cracked the nod to an international launch – and the fact that it was all happening at or around the famous Portimao Race Track in the Algarve equated to a delay of about .05 of a second before the words “Hell Yeah!” Rang down the cellular airwaves.
FFWD a couple of weeks and we joined the CFMOTO SA team for the long haul flight from JHB international to Zurich and onwards to Lisbon. A shuttle hauled the occupants and gear to our diggs and it was literally a hit and run to catch the next shuttle to the start of the media event. That’s when it became clear that this was not simply a launch of a motorcycle, but a gathering of the CFMOTO clans from around the globe… in addition to the introduction of NINE new machines.

This is a dirt publication right?
So how about two ADV machines, a New Quad, two new SXS and a farm bike?

The team also presented a second ADV tourer in the form of the 700MT and – A brand new Z-FORCE Side By Side, a rip snorting Mud Monster CFORCE ATV, an Electric UTV (Side x Side) and last but certainly not least – a little CFLITE 250DUAL Trail bike. Add it all up. Yup 9 brand new machines for the ‘25 lineup. If you aren’t impressed, you might as well just go back to sleep.
The belle of the ball for us is the new 800MT-X and we spent a full (Very wet and rainy) day in the saddle riding in the area surrounding that famous MotoGP circuit.
A full feature on the bike is incoming – at the moment, we are just awaiting some media photographs and all that, but man – we have to say that CFMOTO has done such a great job with the bike.
Riding in Portugal is impressive – it’s a beautiful, friendly country. As you read this, we are probably cruising somewhere over Africa at 35000 feet.
You can see what we got up to on our social media pages – RideFast and then Dirt And Trail
You can also check out out CFMOTO S.A.
We’ll get the full story to you on all of the new bikes when we land.
This is one leisure company that is on a serious mission!
