The new HJC C50 is aimed at riders who want modern features without overcomplicating things. Built for off-road use, whether that’s MX, trails, or enduro, it’s set to land in South Africa around mid-May.
At its core, the C50 uses an advanced polycarbonate shell, designed to balance strength and weight for off-road riding. It carries the latest ECE 22.06 certification, bringing it in line with current safety standards.
Ventilation is a key focus. HJC’s ACS (Advanced Channeling Ventilation System) is designed to move air from the front through to the rear, helping manage heat and airflow while riding in demanding conditions.
The peak visor is shaped for stability at speed and is fully adjustable without tools, making it easy to adjust or remove depending on the ride.
On the comfort side, the interior is fully removable and washable. HJC uses moisture-wicking materials to help keep things fresh on longer days. There are built-in eyeglass grooves for riders who wear specs, along with a secure double D-ring closure.
The HJC C50 it’s fully goggle-compatible and includes practical touches like a removable mouth vent cover for easier cleaning after muddy rides. There are also integrated speaker pockets for riders who want to run a communication system.
Styling isn’t limited to one look either. The C50 range comes in a variety of colourways and graphic options, from clean, minimal finishes to more aggressive designs.
Simple, functional, and built with real-world riding in mind, the HJC C50 is a solid addition to the off-road helmet space for riders looking for a straightforward, modern option.
