Engine.
“To climb steep mountain passes and charge through traffic, the 390 Enduro R is equipped with KTM’s latest generation LC4c 399 cc single cylinder engine putting out 39 Nm of torque and a power ratio of 33 kW.
Suspension.
KTM’s suspension of choice is WP APEX. The front end is equipped with an open cartridge fork that allows for 230 mm of travel, with 30 clicks to adjust both rebound and compression. At the back is an adjustable WP APEX Separate piston shock with 230 mm travel. The rebound can be adjusted with 20 clicks on the fly while the preload has to be adjusted with a tool.

Wheels and Tyres.
The KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with spoked 21” front and 18” rear wheel wrapped in Metzeler’s Karoo 5 tyres. 90/90 R21 front and 140/80 R18 rear.
Brakes.
The 390 Enduro R is fitted with KTM’s ABS technology that powers the Bybre front double piston caliper biting down on a single 285 mm brake disc. The rear is fitted with a 240 mm brake disc and a single piston caliper.
ABS can be disabled completely.
Frame and Swingarm.
A new two-piece design, the frame is composed of a steel trellis main frame and a pressure die-cast aluminium sub frame. This design is said to improve agility with enhanced feedback from the chassis on both road and dirt. The die-cast swingarm has been developed to provide a sturdy and durable platform for the rear suspension. The swingarm is fitted with an offset direct shock absorber mount that creates additional space for the unique exhaust system.

Ergonomics.
The 390 Enduro R features an ergo-triangle, upright seating position and aggressive handlebar shape.
It’s equipped with a single-piece flat seat with “added comfort for those extended periods in the saddle.”
The footpegs are two position adjustable..
TFT Display.
The KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with a 4.2” TFT screen with specially-designed user interface to suit the compact size of the screen. The polarized coated bonded glass is said to reduce glare and improve visibility in all light conditions.
Riders can access incoming calls, music and turn-by-turn navigation and the bike comes complete with a USB-C charging port.
