They said they would… And the process has started.
After The Roof Of Africa 2024, MSA, the controlling body of national sports in South Africa announced that there would be a court of enquiry into last years event.
The announcement was welcomed by all, for the good of The Roof Of Africa.
True to their word, the enquiry was held at the SASCO auditorium earlier this week.
All stakeholders, including representatives from Lesotho and Europe attended.
Sponsors, competitor representatives, officials and race organisers were present and all were given the opportunity to have their voices heard.
The discussions were positive with the main focus on the good of The Roof Of Africa, an incredibly historic race and a big part of any petrol heads life.
NOTE: The hearing was not to resolve protests and other racing related issues, but rather, the technicalities and structure around the running of the event.
Protests etc will be heard once this process has been concluded.
Once again, discussions were incredibly positive, with every single player present at the hearing wanting to see The Roof thrive.
The committee has adjourned to discuss all points raised, they will come to a resolution.
