With the almost superbike speeds being attained by adventure bikes these days, peak design on adventure helmets is becoming increasingly important for stability at those high speeds. The E2 Defenders peak has been developed in a wind tunnel for optimal minimisation of buffenting and vibrations. It has also been designed with 3 easily adjusted positions and can be easily removed.
Another user-friendly feature is the memory function on the peak and visor. Simply, the peak and visor will remain in the selected position when opening and closing the chin-bar. The chin-bar also features a double air intake with the top vent acting as a visor demister in cold or wet conditions and the lower vent ensuring good airflow to the rider in hot conditions.
This is one feature packed helmet, other than being designed the quickly and easily fit Schuberth’s SC2 comms system, it is pre-fitted with with all the kit that goes along with it, so you don’t have to pull your helmet apart to fit the HD speakers, the 3 FM radio, Bluetooth and Mesh intercom systems yourself. The SC 2 unit itself is ridiculously easy to fit, simply remove the covers on the E2 Defender and simply plug everything in and turn it all on and connect – proper ‘plug & play’.
