The Leatt Corporation has announced the launch of its first motorcycle adventure helmet. The new Leatt ADV Helmets are available in 9.5 Carbon and 8.5 models and “combine essential road and off-road features.”
The ADV Helmet marks a significant expansion for Leatt, completing its head-to-toe lineup for riders across all terrains.
The helmets will be sold as a kit.
The kit includes a photochromic shield which makes use of the latest UV technology, as well as an additional clear shield. A Pinlock® 120 XLT ensures fog-free visibility, and the bulletproof 4.5 Velocity goggles are perfect for off-road and trail riding.
Both the Leatt ADV 9.5 Carbon and the 8.5 adventure helmets have ECE 22.06 and DOT certifications. They are also two of the few premium helmets on the market with additional anti-rotational technology, increasing rider safety by reducing impact forces and brain rotational acceleration.
MIPS helmets have a low-friction layer between the helmet’s shell and liner that allows the head to move slightly inside the helmet. This mimics the brain’s natural protective system and helps to redirect forces away from the head.
The helmet is scheduled to arrive in the market from mid-December… Just in time for Christmas!
