2025 SA National Enduro Series draws to an end: Double header in Mpumalanga sees some surprises…

Less markers and more navigation led to some surprises in the Lowveld last weekend as some of SA’s top riders were excluded on day 1 due to navigation errors.

It was two days of fierce racing, with the first days route going one way and the same route backwards on the second. Make no mistake… It was a tough course.

The sun was just starting to peek over the majestic mountains of Pilgrim’s Rest as riders gathered for the 2-day SA Enduro National event. It’s always exciting, with competitors from all corners of the country lining up, eager to test their skills against the best in the sport.

The pro riders were out in full force, and it was clear that they were there to put on a show. They navigated the challenging terrain with ease, leaving the rest of the field in awe.

Trails wound their way through dense forests, across rushing streams, and up steep, rocky inclines, pushing the riders to their limits.

Riders of all levels came to challenge themselves and push their limits, and the atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and sportsmanship.

As the dust settled on the final day, the national enduro champions for 2025 were crowned. The winners were overjoyed, their hard work and dedication paying off in the most satisfying way. For the rest, it was a chance to reflect on their performance, learn from their experiences, and start planning for the next challenge.

The 2-day SA Enduro Nationals in Pilgrim’s Rest was a great event, showcasing some of the very best of South African enduro riding. Great scenery, great competition, and warm hospitality. An experience that riders will remember.
