Moto Bike Shed – Cape Town

Well known motorcycle enthusiast Clinton Pienaar…. Yes, yes – that Clinton Pienaar of Superbike magazine fame is making waves in the Cape Town motorcycle scene at Moto Bike Shed. When paper and ink prices went galactic, Clint took this as his cue to get out of the media world and follow his dream to run a motorcycle dealership in Cape Town.

His ticket to Cape Town was the offer to manage a new KTM dealership in Paarl, a little while later, his skills caught the attention of another Mother City based KTM dealership and they enticed him across. However, Clint’s dream was never to work for a boss, but rather to have his own bike sales division.

That opportunity presented itself when Clinton approached Moto Bike Shed owner Ronel Oosthuizen for floor space in Moto Bike Shed for him to start the motorcycle sales section. His request fitted in with the bigger vision Ronel has for Moto Bike Shed. A great opportunity and Clinton became part of the team.

At Moto Bike Shed Ronel and her team Christo, Sean, Ell and Nathan drive Barker Exhaust, motorcycle service and repairs, motorcycle tyre fitment, accessories and they are also agents for Kove and Bajaj.

Moto Bike Shed is also the home of Barker custom Exhaust systems.

Clint and Cindy Pienaar along with Linlee Solmes are the driving force behind the motorcycle sales. They have a fantastic array of really clean superbikes, dirt bikes, adventure bikes, tourers, cruisers and the whole bang shoot.
