It was a chilly morning at the Kempton Park MX track. An ‘In Person’ riders briefing was held to reiterate the importance of the flags and the rules. Practice kicked off at 8 am on a slightly muddy track with the senior riders cutting racing lines in the freshly prepared surfaces.
Heat 1 got underway at 10:30 am with great racing in the MX1 and MX2 classes Ricky Raaff, Mark Carty and Jayden Proctor leading out the field.
Our ladies class was also very exciting with excellent racing throughout the field. Ivana Venter proving to be fastest on her 85cc machine.
The older veteran class had some very tight racing. No.1 Brandon Wheeler taking top honors with No. 11 Sarel Prinsloo and No.222 Morné Earl taking the remaining podium positions.
Round 5 of this great series is scheduled for the 27th of May at the Legends Adventure Park in Pretoria.
