It’s that time of the year where we say cheers to the 2024 racing season. The final round of the Inland MX Championship took place at E.R.O.R.A over the weekend. Even with the rain coming and going didn’t stop the riders from having a blast!
First to tackle the track were the youngsters on their little 50cc rockets.
JNR.
Heat 1.
The gates dropped and the youngsters kick started raceday, they gave it their all and put on quite a show. The first to cross the finish line was #88 Reestin Bartlett, #30 Brayden Tucker came through in 2nd place, with #18 Gary Hamer in 3rd.
In Heat 2, it didn’t take long for Bartlett to take the lead. He kept his head down and finished the season on a high note as he took the double win.Â
A good run from #11 Gianno Ferreira saw him take 2nd with Tucker following in 3rd place.
SNR.
Heat 1.
The seniors race saw #20 Luan Jordaan taking charge from early on. He didn’t let up until he took the flag.
Crossing in 2nd place was #6 Millan Roux with #118 Mason Vrey grabbing 3rd.
In heat 2, Jordaan was not going to be stopped. He raced away to his second win of the day. Some good racing from #17 Hanro Jacobs saw him snatch 2nd with Vrey in 3rd place.

Heat 1.
The youngsters gave way to the more experienced riders. In the first heat it was #58 Warren Peeters who took 1st place, he was followed by #187 Ty Taylor in 2nd and #81 Wesley Taylor in 3rd place.
Heat 2 saw the Hooligan Team rider Ty Taylor first over the finish line. He placed 1st overall for the day. Peeters crossed the line in 2nd with Wesley Taylor taking another 3rd place.
Grand Masters.
Heat 1.
After a very successful season, #47 Shaun Lloyd added to his winning tally as he claimed the win. #159 Adrian Maguire had a strong run and took 2nd place and he was followed by #24 Steven Beegte in 3rd.
In heat 2, Beegte came out to show is experience as he crossed the line in 1st place, Maguire repeated his performance and took another 2nd with #19 Darrel Lehman finishing 3rd.

It was time for the teenagers to come out and entertain the fans.Â
Riding his way to the first win of the day was #38 Ethan Louw. #3 Asher Brown came through to take 2nd place and #114 Damien Venter grabbed 3rd.
Heat 2.
To round out the 2024 racing season, Venter carved through the track and placed 1st. Brown kept his racing lines clean to clinch 2nd with Louw in 3rd place.

Heat 1.
The premier class was all or nothing as the gates dropped.Â
Going for broke was #24 Mark-James Carty who powered his way to 1st place. #746 Adriano Catalano followed in 2nd with #4 Dylan da Silva rounding out the podium.
In Heat 2, Carty was just too fast for his competitors. He crossed the line for the double win. Catalano followed in 2nd place and Da Silva took 3rd.
MX Support.
Heat 1.
There were 18 riders behind the gates for the MX Support class and it produced some great racing. Taking up the front – and in the end taking the win was #159 Adian Maguire. He was followed by #15 Dylan Bezuidenhout in 2nd and #34 Greg Gildenhuys in 3rd.
Heat 2.
With another win on his mind, Maguire took the fight to the pack and claimed victory.
 This time Gildenhuys was the one who grabbed 2nd with #47 Casey Lloyd taking 3rd.

The little 2-stroke engines screamed off in a puff of smoke as they launched off the start line. As the end of the race got closer it was #104 Richard Smith who clinched the win. #66 Mikah Hendrickse took 2nd place and finishing in 3rd was #333 Parker Cik.
Heat 2.
Feeling great after his first heat’s results, Smith flowed through the track as he took his second win for the day. Parker Cik improved on his pace and grabbed 2nd, followed by #201 Hanru du Plessis in 3rd.

Heat 1.
Throughout the season we’ve seen three ladies who have fought tooth and nail for the top spot in almost every round and this final round was no different.Â
Claiming the win was #32 Ivana Venter. She was followed by #16 Kelly Beegte in 2nd with #110 Emily Pienaar filling the podium.
In heat 2 Venter again finished in 1st place. Beegte rode well to take 2nd and Pienaar placed 3rd.

Even though there were only two riders in the JNR class the two riders still gave it a 100%. Crossing in 1st place was #220 Alexander Compaan with #78 Keagan Crawford taking the 2nd spot.
Heat 2 saw the two riders pushing hard! But in the end it was Crawford who grabbed the win with Compaan in 2nd place.
Pro Mini.
Heat 1.
In the Pro Mini class the fans got to watch #280 Kabelo Ledwaba run a great race as he jumped his way over the line for the win with #111 Keegan Miles following very shortly and placed 2nd with #91 Connor Schlebusch in 3rd place.
In Heat 2, it was once again Ledwaba that just kept going full out all the way to the end to claim 1st, Miles fought hard to take the win from Ledwaba but just fell short to take 2nd place, these two boys most defiantly had the best action for the day. Schlebusch placed 3rd once again.

The gates dropped, the riders piled into the first corner and the race was on.
A great start to his day had #73 Brandon Wheeler ride his way to take the win. #100 Sean Strunheide placed in 2nd and #977 Stefan von Benecke crossed in 3rd place.
In Heat 2 it was two for two as Wheeler powered his way to 1st place. Von Benecke had a strong run of his own to claim 2nd place, chased hard by #88 Terrence Kinnear in 3rd.
MX2.
Heat 1.
Fierce racing throughout this class made for great entertainment!Â
Coming out on top was #24 Mark-James Carty in 1st place. #210 Blake Osner placed 2nd with #114 Damien Venter in 3rd.
Heat 2 was a display of skill by Carty to take his second double win for the day.
Coming through strong, it was #300 Trent Valsecchi who grabbed 2nd with Osner finishing in 3rd place.
