The Inland MX Championship gathered at Dirt Bronco for Round 5, there might have been a chill in the air but the action was quite heated.

Heat 1.

The juniors alongside the senior riders were out first. A good run from #14 Milan Le Roux saw him cross the line for the win followed by #112 Logan Fulton in 2nd place.  

Heat 2.

It was a repeat of the first heat with Le Roux grabbing the win and Fulton taking 2nd.

50cc SNR.

Heat 1.

A great start from #30 Brayden Tucker had him take an early lead, he kept a clear head and took a comfortable 1st place, #6 Millan Roux came through in 2nd with #107 Thanga Kilhungi in 3rd.

Heat 2.

Tucker had no intentions to take things easy in heat two, keeping it pinned all the way to claim the double win, #11 Gianno Ferreira took 2nd and Kilhungi finished in 3rd place.

Heat 1.

As the gate dropped the riders shot off the line and all bolted towards turn one. The pack started to spread out as the laps fell. #746 Adriano Catalano on his newly Honda Wing Glen sponsored CRF 450 claimed the win followed by #141 Christian Berrington-Smith in 2nd and #19 Alastair Drennan in 3rd place.

Heat 2.

The MX1 always puts on a great show and the Catalano stole the show as he out ran his competitors to take 1st place, Berrington-Smith got 2nd and Drennan another 3rd. 

MX Support.

Heat 1.

The Support class had to battle each other with the MX1 riders in between. #32 Brandon Meyer had a pace that could not be matched allowing him to take a massive win, #717 Wayne Meyer took 2nd place with #322 Connor Du Plessis in 3rd. 

Heat 2.

The last heat had some good racing, coming out on top was Brandon Meyer with Wayne Meyer following shortly in 2nd place, #421 Tyrone Thomson took 3rd.

Heat 1.

From early in the race #16 Kelly Beegte made her way to the front and started to pull a gap. She rode her way to an easy win, #110 Emily Pienaar took 2nd followed by #55 Gabriella Olivier in 3rd.

Heat 2.

It was all about Beegte as she glided through the track all the way to her double win, Pienaar finished in 2nd Olivier took 3rd place.

Up next was the High School classr. #141 Christian Berrington-Smith had the most to offer as he claimed the win, #300 Tyler Tarantino took 2nd and #3 Asher Brown finished in 3rd place.

Heat 2.

Things got quite heated in the battle for first place, with some proper elbow bashing, Brown just managed to clinch the win, Berrington-Smith in a close 2nd place and #11 Deruk van Aswegan took 3rd.

Heat 1.

The 65cc riders were out fighting the chilly weather. #20 Luan Jordaan seemed unfazed by the cold as he powered his way to 1st place, #141 Alessandro Green grabbed 2nd and #246 Gianno Ferreira took 3rd.

Heat 2.

For their last race of the day Jordaan had an unstoppable run that saw him take the win, Green came through in 2nd and #215 Nathan Authers took 3rd place.

Heat 1.

Out next was the Master class riders, taking charge of the race was #105 Justin Bauer as he just kept going all the way across the line for the win, Hooligans Rider #187 Ty Tayllor finished in 2nd and #28 Callan Theron took 3rd place. 

Heat 2.

Bauer was in top form as he picked all the right lines that took him over the line in 1st place, Theron with a better run claimed 2nd with Taylor in 3rd.

Grand Masters.

Heat 1.

From the gate drop all the way till the end #47 Shaun Lloyd was on the gas and didn’t let up until he claimed 1st place, #7 Gary Killian came through in 2nd followed by #159 Adrian Maguire in 3rd.

Heat 2.

Showing the youth how the seasoned riders do things, Lloyd finished with his second win for the day, Killian got 2nd place with #19 Darrel Lehman in 3rd.

Heat 1.

The MX2 class had a few nail biting moments throughout the race. In the end it was #141 Christian Berrington-Smith taking part in his third class of the day, taking the win, #114 Damion Venter crossed in 2nd and #84 Marco Cherti took 3rd place.

Heat 2.

Hats off to Berrington-Smith as he displayed great stamina competing in multiple races and still being able to take a double win he was followed by #38 Ethan Louw in 2nd and Venter in 3rd place.

Vets.

Heat 1.

The laps fell one by one and as we got to the closing stage of the race #717 Wayne Meyer collected 1st place, #22 Sarel Prinsloo took 2nd with #94 Keegan Du Plooy in 3rd.

Heat 2.

Prinsloo was out in full force as he stormed his way to claim the win, Du Plooy finished in 2nd place with #100 Sean Stunkheide taking 3rd.

Heat 1.

Two junior riders took their spots with the Pro riders behind the gate, this did not stop them from going all out. #246 Ryan Boggett took 1st with #515 Corbin McLean in 2nd place.

Heat 2.

It was almost an exact copy of the first race as Boggett crossed the line for the win and McLean taking 2nd.

85cc Pro.

Heat 1.

Up front of the Pro class was a battle for first place between #15 Lleyton Botha and #111 Keegan Miles. When the dust settled it was Botha who took the win followed shortly by Miles and coming through in 3rd was #303 Damon Taljaard.

Heat 2.

Botha had no intention of having another close finish, he chose his ruts well and made his way over the line in 1st place, #312 Qhamani Thu finished in 2nd and #220 Kigen Murithi took 3rd.
