The i50 is DOT & ECE certified, achieving light weight while maintaining exceptionally good shock absorption. In addition to shell design, the i50 features SLID, (Sliding Layer Impact Distribution), HJC’s impact distribution technology, which helps to reduce rotational acceleration in an accident.
The i50 features an advanced polycarbonate composite shell, lightweight, fit and comfort using advanced CAD technology with impact absorbing, multi-density EPS liner.
It has a maximum range adjustable visor
Big news is the large eye port for maximum visibility and excellent goggle fit and an aerodynamic rear spoiler. Cooling is taken care of via another HJC feature known as ACS, (Advanced Channelling Ventilation System). Top and forehead intake vents combine with rear exit vents to provide flow-through ventilation that helps to pull heat and humidity up and out of the helmet’s interior and that is combined with their Supercool® Interior Lining to keep your head lekker dry and cool and provide more comfort in dirt and off-road conditions.
The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable, the nylon strap is fitted with a double D-Ring retention system with a neatly secured chin strap and in most instances it either meets or exceeds DOT standards.
