Dylan “Bezzie” Bezuidenhout Crowned the First-Ever Rider X

The results are in and South Africa’s very first Rider X is none other than Gauteng’s young hammer, Dylan “Bezzie” Bezuidenhout.

Bezzie, his Father Jorrie and Bibendum.

The big announcement went down in style at Zeemans Motorcycles during a special press release event that felt every bit as important as the programme itself. Honda South Africa rolled in to show their support, Michelin pitched up in force, and the Zeemans crew pulled out all the stops for the reveal, snacks, drinks, banners, lights, the works. Even Bibendum, Michelin’s legendary mascot, made a surprise appearance and had everyone grinning.

Bezzie with all the right moves.

After a competitive try out at Dirt Bronco where more than thirty riders fought for their dream, Bezzie proved he has the full package: Speed, style, consistency, attitude and that calm, coachable mindset you need at the top level. The judges saw it. The crowd felt it. The choice was clear.

And the reward? Massive.

As the newly crowned Rider X, Dylan heads into the 2026 Inland MX Championship with a support package that could change the trajectory of his career:

  • A brand-new 2026 Honda CRF250 for the entire MX2 season
  • All race entries covered
  • Full mechanical and maintenance support
  • Tyres, parts and setup backing through Honda Wing SA, Zeemans & Autocycle (Michelin)
  • A pro pit setup with the Hooligans MX Team
  • Media exposure, mentorship, and factory-level structure wrapped around him for the year

Even when getting knocked down in the MX2 2025 season, Bezzie never gave up

For a rider who’s built his name on determination, hard work and pure passion since 2021, this is the ultimate step up. Bezzie already showed serious pace in MX2 this year, now he’s stepping onto the 2026 grid with the kind of backing that turns potential into podiums.

From golden ticket… to standout rider… to the first-ever Rider X.

Dylan Bezuidenhout just leveled up and South Africa’s MX scene is watching.
