If your idea of a good Sunday involves motorcycles and getting the family out of the house, Honda has what sounds like a seriously cool day lined up for you.
The Honda Family Fun Day is happening on Sunday, 18 October at the ADA Training & Outdoor Centre in Hartbeespoort, where riders and families can spend the day playing with Honda’s two wheeled toys. The event runs from 08h00 to 14h00 and will feature both on- and off-road riding activities, competitions, slalom racing and plenty of prizes.
For the dirt crowd, the CRF300L and CRF300 Rally will be available for demo rides, while the younger generation gets their own chance to twist the throttle on supervised CRF110F and CRF125F riding activities. There will also be an opportunity to try Honda’s E-Clutch technology on the NX500 and XL750 Transalp, while the new CB1000GT will be on display for those who prefer their fun with a little more tarmac involved.
And because this is a Family Fun Day, it isn’t all about riding. Lunch and refreshments are included, riders get goodie bags and there are spot prizes up for grabs. Motul South Africa, Leatt South Africa and the ADA Training Outdoor Centre are also getting involved.
The really lekker part? All ticket proceeds go to the Reach For A Dream Foundation. Adult tickets are R100, children R50 and spectators R25.
So, grab the family, your riding gear and your sense of adventure, and head for Hartbeespoort.
Bikes, dirt, fun and a good cause, sounds like a pretty decent Sunday to us.
