Motul’s “Ladies Learn to Ride” Returns

Motul’s “Ladies Learn to Ride” Returns to Fuel a New Group of Female Riders.

Motul has announced the return of the Ladies Learn to Ride event, scheduled for 23 May 2026 at the ADA Training Facility in partnership with Honda South Africa. This fourth edition of the event is designed to offer women a safe, supportive, and exhilarating introduction to the world of motorcycling.

From First-Timers to Free Riders

The Ladies Learn to Ride series has hosted three successful editions, with approximately 100 women having already taken the leap to learn to ride solo. This year’s return marks a renewed commitment to growing the motorcycling sector by focusing on the fundamentals of riding in a zero-pressure environment.

The day is dedicated to the “dreamers” and “bucket-list tickers”—women who have always felt the pull of the open road but perhaps felt the opportunity or environment wasn’t quite right. Under the guidance of qualified instructors, 20 participants will experience the unique freedom that only two wheels can provide.

Driving Accessibility, Inspiring Independence

“We are thrilled to bring this initiative back to the calendar,” says Mercia Jansen, Managing Director of Motul South Africa. “Our goal has always been to grow the industry by making it more accessible. Motorcycling offers a sense of exhilaration and independence that is truly life-changing. By providing a fun, non-competitive, and safe space, we’re inviting women to discover that passion for themselves. Who knows? A few hours on a motorcycle here might lead to a lifelong journey on two wheels.”

Powered by Partnership, Built on Confidence

“Partnering with ADA Training Centre and Honda SA for this event allows us to provide the perfect platform for new riders. “With the right equipment and expert tuition, we can ensure that every woman leaves the track with more confidence than she arrived,” Jansen explains.
