Last week we brought you the news about Beta SA’s national contingent which is, shall we say, impressive.
The good news is that dealers like Russell Campbell Dirtbikes in Edenvale are taking to trails all over the show with a massive contingent of red and blue machines.
“21 Riders” says Russ – “And if you are at an event and you ride a Beta you are most welcome to come pit with us and we’ll keep an eye on things for you.”
To that end, they will have a full service package for Impi and the Roof of Africa.
Cool huh!
More Beta news is that the first 2-stroke RX 350 has arrived in SA and is on its way to Natal for a dealer launch.
It is now the largest-capacity two-stroke production bike on the market. We were not actually certain whether this bike would get here anytime soon due to global demand being so high… but hey presto! There you go. Now you can dice MX against the 450 four strokes.
More news as soon as we can get our mitts onto one.
The RX 350 is a newly introduced, purpose-built 351.7cc two-stroke motocross bike designed to blend lightweight, 2-stroke agility with competitive, broad, and torquey power. Featuring a 78mm bore and a 38mm Keihin carburetor, it is aimed at racers and riders who are looking for a high-performance alternative to 450cc 4-strokes, offering a 102KG dry weight…
Something pretty unique… It looks flippen amazing!
More on this lot soon…
