We all know that when it comes to riding off-road, a good set of boots is key.
Even the tough oakes who ride without things like chest protectors and stuff still don’t go out for a ride without a set of proper off-road motorcycle boots.
Leatt became one of the most popular choices for off-road riding gear amongst South African riders, with their signature 5.5 Flex-lock boots. This year, Leatt has upped their game again with the new Leatt Moto 6.5 Flex Lock enduro boot.
Alway use protection: On the inside, you get a three-part knee and ankle protection system with dual axis ankle support, Case Control which limits over-flexion and you get Leatt’s 3DF impact foam.
the boots fasten with Leatt’s patented SlideLock velcro system and new forged aluminium buckles with an overlock system that secures to a stainless steel base to keep you locked in. On the outside, you’ll find hard protection from TPU panels, with the shin brandishing a reinforced panel for impact protection.
TPU and rubber panels protect the inner part of your leg along the calf, ankle, and lower boot, and an impact-protecting TPU heel counter is fitted for all-around safety.
The boots are CE certified.
All about sole:
The Moto 6.5’s feature Goodyear constructed soles that are stitched on for proven durability and easy replacement. The soles feature Leatt’s DualZOne hardness footpeg riding zone, extended across the arch and the balls of the feet, and also include a steel tempered shank for extra reinforcement, topped off with a molded alloy toe cap designed with sharp edges to provide traction on hard surfaces.
Comfort wise, Molded and 3D-shaped impact foam lines the entire inside of the boots to keep you going for longer, with a 3D mesh liner to ensure breathability on those hot South African days.
The toe box is made wider and flatter in order to accommodate various foot sizes and make changing gears a breeze.
The boots feature some anti-slip suede sections around the back to keep your heels from lifting and a stretch fit collar made from PA fabric around the top to seal you in.Â
