World Supercross Championship

World Supercross Championship…

The World Supercross Championship exploded into action as Round 3 touched down on the golden shores of Australia. Under warm skies and a buzzing stadium, fans packed in to watch their heroes throw down in what turned out to be the most unpredictable round of the season so far. From bar to bar battles to come from behind heroics, the Gold Coast delivered the goods in proper style.

SX1 Roczen Plays the Long Game

The premier class came out swinging with the kind of intensity you only get when a title chase starts getting serious. Ken Roczen wasn’t the fastest out of the gate all night, but man, was he calculating. Using consistency as his weapon, he pieced together finishes of 1-4-3 to secure the overall win. No wild moments, no unnecessary risks, just smart racing from a man who knows exactly what it takes to win championships.

Christian Craig lit up the final moto with a brilliant victory that had the Aussie crowd on their feet, handing him second overall for the night. Tomac, Webb and Deegan, all had flashes of brilliance, but none could stitch together the full three-moto package like Roczen. In a field this stacked, small mistakes become big problems, and Round 3 reminded everyone of that in a hurry.

SX2 Anstie Untouchable

If there’s one rider writing the script in 2025, it’s Max Anstie. Mr Perfect once again, three starts, three wins, and another overall that kept his season spotless. The Brit is riding with absolute confidence and he flowed effortlessly through the technical Aussie track while the rest of the field scrambled behind him.

At this point, the question isn’t about who can beat him, it’s whether anyone actually can.

Sweden, Round 4 Awaits!

The circus now heads north to Stockholm for Round 4, where cold air, hot tempers, and a stadium full of passionate European fans are waiting.  Anstie is on a perfect run… the Swedish GP is set to be a banger. Expect drama. Expect shake-ups. Expect someone to roll the dice… It’s awesome.

Just in: Ken Roczen (SX1): Roczen, the current points leader, is not participating in the final two rounds of the 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship in Sweden and South Africa. His team, Pipes Motorsport Group (PMG), has stated this was a pre-planned decision and his spot for these rounds is being filled by Colt Nichols. This move opens up the title race for Jason Anderson, Christian Craig, and Joey Savatgy. That’s going to be fun to watch for sure!

Cameron Durow

SA Riders for Cape Town…

Well, we know that SA champ Cam Durow will be banging bars out there.

The 9-time South African National Motocross Champion from Pietermaritzburg is one of the country’s most accomplished riders, with national titles collected across every major category – 50cc through MX1.

He further cemented his status in 2025 by claiming the MX1 National Championship for KTM.

Durow has represented South Africa at the Motocross of Nations on four occasions, competing in the USA, France, the UK, and again in 2025. His wildcard appearance at the South African GP is expected to be a highlight of the event, giving local fans the rare chance to watch one of their own line-up in World Supercross competition on home ground.

 See you in Cape Town!
