Undoubtedly one of the most significant team events on the International Motocross calendar, MXON brings together competitors from around the world to form national teams. Team South Africa will engage in fierce competition against some of the finest riders from across the globe.
At the forefront of this charge is Camden Mc Lellan, the reigning 85 European Champion and a prominent force in the MX2 Class on the international scene. This will mark Mc Lellan’s third consecutive appearance as a representative of South Africa at the MXoN event, thereby contributing unmatched experience and resilience to the team.Â
Accompanying Mc Lellan is Cameron Durow, the reigning South African MX1 and MX2 Champion, who will now enter the MXGP Class for his second appearance representing SA at the event. Durow’s impressive track record adds a layer of mastery to the team’s lineup.
Joining them is Jesse Wright, whose remarkable performance in the current South African national championship has highlighted his potential and speed in the MXOpen Class. Ready to step in as the team’s reserve rider is Tristan Purdon, a top 5 contender in the British Championship, armed with recent significant international exposure, poised to offer his expertise if the need arises.
These riders will proudly fly the flag for South Africa under the astute leadership of Team Manager, Cheryl Mc Lellan.
With the Motocross of Nations on the horizon, all attention is riveted on Team South Africa. Their unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with the steadfast support from fans and sponsors, sets the stage for an exhilarating showdown in Ernée.
