Sherco has sent along details on the 2024 enduro model range. There are updates across the board.Â
Updated:
The new grey touches and front fender seem to identify the new model year, but it seems that the biggest news are the new 250 and 300 SEF four-stroke engines.Â
The model range still boasts 7 models with 125, 250 and 300 two-strokes and then 250, 300, 450 and 500 four-strokes.
The chassis’ includes new paint on the frames, aluminium rear sprockets, stronger wheels. The standard Sherco Racing models include KYB closed cartridge front suspension and KYB rear shock, Brembo brake system and Selle Dalla Valle seat cover.
2024 Sherco Enduro at a glance:
- 2024 graphics kit
- New led headlight
- New front fender
- New clutch cover
- New swingarm
- New frame paint
- New wheels, spokes and hubs

- New oil sight glass and filler cap (250/300 4T)
- New throttle body diameter (38.5mm to 42mm), ports and valves on the SEF 300 improve top-end power and increase revs to 13,700rpm
- New gear position sensors on the Four strokes.Â
Sherco tells us that:
- The new front wheel design has stronger rims, spokes and hubs. They are lighter and the hubs are sealed better.
- The new swingarm is 200grams lighter and Sherco claims that it improves traction and rider comfort.Â
- The two-stroke engine top mounts have been redesigned to reduce vibration and make it easier to work on the motor.
New 250 and 300 four stroke engines
- New crankcases for MY24 on the smaller engine platform increase cooling and lubrication.Â
- New magnesium clutch and ignition covers reduce weight. The clutch side engine case has a repositioned oil sight glass and oil filler cap to make servicing easier.
- A new engine balancer shaft makes the engine quieter.
300 SEF:
- The 300 gets new intake and exhaust ports to improve low-rev efficiency and top-end power. New titanium intake valves and valve springs allow the bike to rev to 13,700rpm with a significant reduction in engine braking.
- The new gear position sensor allows a different engine map for every gear.
- A new throttle body diameter (increased from 38.5mm to 42mm) boosts top-end power.
The bigger bikes get all the external updates and just the new clutch cover with no major changes to their motors.Â
The bikes should hit SA at the end of August.
